Field Status - The City of Mississauga monitors playing conditions for all City-operated baseball and softball diamonds. Updates are posted on their website when a sports field is closed due to maintenance, weather, or other reasons. Once a field is closed, all practices and games are cancelled for the entire day and evening. Based on closures by the city, MNBA may mass cancel all games no later than 2pm. In this case, you will see a cancellation message on the Teamlinkt app and our website

 

Rain/Bad Weather - Before the game starts, if the city has not closed the fields (i.e. due to late day rain), the coaches will determine the status of the game prior to game time. If you have not heard from your coach, please proceed to the diamond. Once a game starts, umpires make the decision on whether or not to proceed. Upon the first notice of thunder and/or lighting, all games and practices are suspended. All participants are to exit the field immediately.
