What is Rep Softball

The Mississauga North Tigers Rep program is a travel softball program that allows youth players to play at a higher level. Players suit up in the Tigers Rep uniform and represent Mississauga North against other city centres. Regular season sees our MNBA Tigers Rep teams play in the  provincial womens softball association known as the PWSA against  teams from Oakville, Milton, Brampton, Halton Hills, and other Mississauga teams . As members of the PWSA , our Rep teams also participate in several PWSA tournaments throughout the province and the Ontario Provincial championships. If you are successful at the provincial level you play in the Canadian Championships  representing Ontario.

Mississauga North softball  is proud to have many team across all age groups lead by NCCP Certified coaches. Rep teams start at U11 and finish at U19 

The Rep Season

The Mississauga North Tigers Rep Program begins in September (the weekend after Labour Day) with our teams holding tryouts, selecting their teams, and beginning their training for the next season.  Teams train outdoors where possible, in our indoor training facility, and in local school gyms. Training  starts in October  and runs till April. Our training program helps to prepare our Rep teams to field highly competitive teams once the season begins.

The regular season begins in May and runs until early August. Teams generally play 1 home and 1 away game per week and have 1-2 practices per week. Playoffs and Championships take place in mid-August to Labour Day Weekend. Weekend tournament dates and locations vary by team and are scheduled between May  and September.

Who Can Play?

Mississauga North Tigers Rep teams are selected each year through tryouts in the fall. The program is open to females aged U11 to U19. See you at tryouts!
