Our House League program is focused on fitness, fun, friendship and skill development. We can accommodate both experienced players and players new to baseball between the age of 3 and 18. Teams play two games per week (weather permitting) and practice once per week. The regular season begins after the Victoria Day weekend, with playoffs starting mid-July, leading up to the Day of Champions in early August. All players receive a unform (jersey, pants, cap), team and individual player photo, and a year-end participation award or Championship trophy.

FAQ
What age divisions does MNBA offer?
What is 5U, 6U, 7U (T-Ball)?
T-Ball is an introduction to baseball for young players with a strong focus on teaching players to hit. Rather than having to hit a moving ball, players hit a stationary ball off a batting tee. In T-Ball (5U, 6U and 7U), all players bat every inning. We don't keep score at 5U, which allows players to focus entirely on fun and skill development. At 6U and 7U, the focus remains on fun and skill development, but scorekeeping provides an introduction to competitive play.
What is 9U (Rookie Ball)?
Formerly called Rookie Ball, 9U baseball allows players to transition from hitting off a tee to hitting a moving ball with the introduction of a pitching machine. Rather than hitting off a live pitcher, a coach for the hitting team feeds the ball into a pitching machine. This allows hitters to develop the skill of hitting a moving ball against a consistent pitch speed and location.
How many games and practices are scheduled weekly?
Teams typically play 2 weeknight games each week (weather permitting) during the regular season, and practice once on the weekend.
Where will games be played?
As a sports affiliate of the City of Mississauga, MNBA schedules games at age-appropriate parks located across northwest Mississauga.
When does the season start and end?
The season starts on the Tuesday after the May long weekend (Victoria Day) and ends the weekend following the August Civic Holiday.
What time do the games start for House League Baseball?
5U, 6U, 7U, 9U and 11U regular season games start at 6:15 PM. 13U and 15U regular season games may start at either 6:15 PM or 8:30 PM.
Are there games scheduled on summer holidays?
MNBA does not schedule House League games on Victoria Day, Canada Day or the August Civic Holiday.
